Think I stood in the wrong queue for adventure.
Ah family.
You don’t get to pick them, which is okay by me given that my lot have always been quite entertaining – and if you can’t be rich, be entertaining I’ve always said.
So here’s a little random background about my brother and sister, both of whom spend pretty much their whole time travelling around the planet on adventures of some kind. Quite why it is that they’re off experiencing the many marvels distant places have to offer while I selected to experience the many marvels the internet has to offer is unknown to me.
Well okay, not entirely unknown. I chose to get hitched and have forty six thousand kids all at the same time, which kinda meant that I needed to get a job that paid a bit.
My brother Joe, meanwhile is off being a watersports super hero. That’s watersports in the traditional sense rather than the one we’ve all come to know and love on this here internet. He drives catamarans, sailboards, kites and all manner of other windpowered aquatic transport around all manner of exotic places and frequently gets paid for it. His “routine” such as it is is to head out to Greece every spring to run a sailing holiday destination, before heading back in October with a monkey load of cash then head to South Africa for the winter to spend the time surfing.

My sister Emily meanwhile spent a good long time out in India becoming a fully fledged Reiki grandmaster (good title : +5 points) before coming back to blighty to work out she didn’t really know what she wanted to do with herself. She eventually ended up in Israel where she joined the ban Amiram Inc as a vocalist, violinist, Reiki grandmaster. It’s a bit lift-music for my taste but it’s well done, check out their offerings here.
Yes, I’m just procrastinating before tearing the site down and rebuilding it. I’m having second thoughts relating to “can I be arsed” but frankly I miss your wonderful pithy comments. Wonderful and pithy though they be.
