Hey Bill, you’re more than entitled to disagree – my own venting here tends to be based on my personal experiences, however (if you’re still around) how does the Fusion compare with the Mach 3? Both in terms of the quality of shave, and the durability of the blades?

Don’t much care for your rating. I have about the toughest beard in the world, and the Gillette causes razor burn, skin irritation, tug and pull, to mention just a few negative aspects of it. The only reason I continue to use it is because an electric razor REALLY tugs and pulls to the point of near pain, causes razor burn, skin irritation and fails completely at removing even the shortest of remaining stubble. My main objection to the Gillette razor is the astronomical and unreasonable price. In the “old” days a man could get a shave from a barber for less than a “buck”. Today, a man has to pay over $2.40 (plus shipping and/or tax) just for the stupid razor alone. Technology sucks in the shaving industry. The almighty dollar, pound or franc still reigns supreme. So, I guess I’ll have no choice but to continue using Gillette. I absolutely abhor doing that, but what choice do I have, unless I grow a beard. I’ve done that too, and it’s worse than shaving. Oh, well! Life goes on. I just wish it went on without Gillette in mine.
