In the previous instalment of the The Inevitable Zombie Apocalypse Indispensible Guide To The Survival Thereof I covered weaponry in somewhat vague detail. Now, armed as you should be with your trusty coffee table we come to the second part of this plan for your survival – legging it.

Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse : Weapons

Monday, November 1st, 2010

Given the recent passing of an allegedly spooky time of year it seems that the humble zombie has become the most popular nemesis in current popular culture. We’ve got books, movies, TV and it seems that no matter what video game you have a preference for the ingenious designers will find a way to crowbar zombies into it. With this in mind I decided it was high time for another guide on surviving the inevitable apocalypse that is coming for us all, so in this installment we’ll cover off how to survive the dead rising from the grave.

Given the breadth of information and coverage the subject has received this part of the apocalypse survival guide will be in multiple parts. Today, we start by dispelling the logic behind firearms. Continue reading “Surviving The Zombie Apocalypse : Weapons” »

Mobile Phone Hi-Jinx with Three

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

I should first point out that I don’t have anything against mobile phone companies, far from it, I applaud the tenacity with which they’re getting filthy stinking rich off an industry that didn’t exist 15 years ago. This time around I’m looking to hook up my ever growing children with their first phones.

Surviving The Triffid Apocalypse

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

This is the first in what will undoubtedly be a series of guides written by yours truly on the subject of surviving inevitable apocalyptic events in the future. What is unknown is the nature of said inevitable apocalyptic event, so we’ll take no chances and cover as much as possible. In this first installment we’ll be suggesting the right course of action to be taken in the inevitable apocalyptic event that the whole world is blinded by astronomical phenomena and triffids take over.

The Difference Between Men and Women

Wednesday, February 21st, 2007

A subject which has had a lot written about it by so-called experts, but they, in all honesty don’t know a damn thing. It is experience of a very specific nature which gives you the insight to understand the difference between the two.

The Twinkle Sisters

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Easily too much for most people to handle.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is something of a rock family tree about a bunch of bands you never heard of.

In the summer of 1991 the freshman year of students at Crewe and Alsager college of higher education formed among whom were several outstanding musician types. This is the story of five unlikely rock gods who went on to not be rock gods.

The Viking Longboat Plan

Monday, September 25th, 2006

I have a healthy fixation with the words and phrases internet denizens have used to find this outlet of philosophy. And why not? After all, every other site operator out there probably trawls through their referals and says “grilled mackeral, what the hell?” dismissing it as a fluke, a distraction, a quirk of the ether. These people are fools, they do not realise that this search did not happen without cause, that the result was stumbled on without the searcher wanting to find the answer, so, whether the search be mispelled as with our good friend Mr Mackeral, nonsensical or just plain weird, I’ll happily fulfill any requests that come in.
